Privacy as currency
We all know what we are getting when we make use of online services, but are we aware of what we agree to give them?
I researched twelve privacy policies from different online services, to find out what information or data they use and what for. With the results I created a website that informs users how their privacy is handled. So that they can decide for themselves whether the use of a service is worth the cost.
The website has a storyline running through it which asks the reader to critically think about what they read and see. The story is backed up by visuals of the research. The total cost is shown in circle diagrams that give insight into how the costs are build up.
